⛷️ Race Information

I'm skiing from Friday, March 20 – how do I collect my ski pass?

  • If you booked a ski pass valid from Friday, go to the Point Info Vente in Chantemerle to collect it (ID or copy required).

  • You will also receive your voucher for a Giant Zip Line descent if you have a "Grand Prix Festival pack".

  • Join us from 9 a.m on the Place du Téléphérique for the start of the festivities! Enjoy the day’s warm-up program and collect your race bibs from 4:30 p.m. onward.

🎽 Bib Collection

Bib distribution takes place in the Salle du Serre d’Aigle (Chantemerle shopping center) on Friday, March 20 from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. (ID or copy required).

  • If your ski pass is valid from Saturday, you will receive it at this time.

  • An exceptional collection slot is scheduled on Saturday, March 21, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the Salle du Serre d’Aigle for those unable to come the previous evening.

🎿 For the Race

  • Helmets are mandatory for EVERYONE (both the “mild” and the “crazy” ones).

  • Avalanche transceiver (DVA/transceiver) is mandatory for all "crazy" participants along with a backpack containing a shovel and probe. (DVA kits can be rented at local sports shops.)
These items are not provided by the Organizer.

  • Please bring a filled water bottle. There will only be one Pit Stop during this edition of the Grand Prix.

  • Your RFID bracelet must be attached to the outside of your right ski boot.

🚀 Start

  • The start for both “Mild” and “Crazy” racers will be from 9 a.m., in waves of 8 or 6 participants, from the top of the Serre Chevalier cable car.

  • Meet at the top of the Serre Chevalier cable car from 8 a.m. for a musical breakfast before the start.

  • The Ratier gondola, Pontillas gondola, and Casse du Bœuf chairlift (linking from the bottom of Chantemerle / Saint-Chaffrey to the Serre Chevalier cable car) will open from 7:30 a.m.

  • Please note: the last start will be at 11 a.m.

🚗 Parking

  • Pro tip: take advantage of the opening of the Pontillas gondola departure from Villeneuve! Since the finish line is at Pontillas, you’ll end up right next to your car!

  • In Villeneuve: Parking is available in Fréjus, with a shuttle service to the Pontillas gondola.

  • In Chantemerle: Parking options include Carines, La Grange, Saint Bernard, Chante Guisane, and Coolidge car parks.

🏁 Finish Line

The 2026 Grand Prix finish will be in Villeneuve, at the bottom of the Pontillas gondola!

You’ll find the finish village there — with entertainment, great food, and of course, the Grand Prix concert! 🎶
